8th Grade dance

The class of 2024 8th grade dance has been set for Saturday, May 18th from 7:30 to 10pm in the SFMS Cafeteria. Please save the date for one last dance!

Approved Attire

Dresses or skirts/dress slacks with a blouse

Dresses with spaghetti straps with no plunging neckline

No backless, strapless, deep neck-lined or midriff-baring dresses (no dresses that expose stomachs or mid to low backs)

Dresses should be 3 inches above the knee

No formal long gowns (if you have any, we can donate them to SHS for their prom gown donation)

Dress slacks and a button-down shirt

Suits and Ties

Belts are preferred

Shoes: Dress shoes/casual shoes/dress sandals/tennis shoes/oxfords

Donate Dance Attire

We are currently collecting the following items so all our wonderful 8th graders have appropriate attire for their candy themed 8th grade dance this year. Items can be dropped off at the SFMS front office between 8am and 4pm or at 14402 Carolcrest in Nottingham Forest. FOR GIRLS: Cocktail dresses of all sizes (no spaghetti straps, business attire, or formal gowns please) and fun/dressy accessories such as shoes, handbags, and costume jewelry.

FOR BOYS: Suits, dress shirts, slacks, vests, dress shoes or dressy sneakers, dress socks, or belts.
