Commitment to Excellence Fund (CTEF) is a group of parents and teachers that form a committee to accept, review and prioritize funding requests for items (tangible and non-tangible) to be used to enrich the overall experience of the students, staff and community of SFMS.

Who can apply for funding from CTEF?  

SFMS teachers and staff, administrators, and PTA members.  

 

How many times per year does CTEF meet? 

Twice per year.

 

How can I be a part of the committee?

Submit your name and contact information before January 10th to Dana Smejkal, our 2023-2024 CTEF Chairman.

 

Where do the funds come from?

The funds come from our SFMS PTA fundraising efforts (after operating budget obligations have been met.)

 

What has been approved and purchased in the past?

Chromebooks, replacement instruments and equipment for Orchestra and Band, audio/visual equipment and lighting for the Auditorium, equipment for Yearbook and Broadcast Journalism, robotics, art supplies, landscaping, benches, pavers, balls for Health/Fitness, scorer's table for the gym.
